When all is said and done, only what  is true really matters.  Most of us who think we are Christians are not on that "narrow" path that leads us to salvation. I have come to find out that most of what we as Christians believe, from a foundational standpoint, is flawed. Once I was given eyes to see, there could be no turning back. Hebrews 10:26-27 tells us: "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." What is this truth? I will be letting you know as I discover it myself. I know where we can find it and that is in the Holy Bible - It is the absolute word of God. Well, kind of. In the original languages, it was and still is, but once translators got their hands on it there were mistakes. Some were intentional while others were not. Even today's best translations are skewed by biases that cannot be avoided.

What I intend to do, is to prove that what we are doing today, in what we call worship, is mostly made-up traditions of men that have no basis in reality or at least as it relates to our salvation.. One of the points that Jesus was always trying to bring home in the gospels is just that. He routinely criticized the Pharisees for their keeping traditions ahead of the actual will of God. They missed the forest for the trees. We can read about them and from our perspective we wonder how they could have been so wrong. The Christian church today is in even worse shape. Sure people get saved and good work gets done. The Holy Spirit works in spite of us most of the time. How much better it would be if we could be united with God rather than in opposition to Him.

What are we doing wrong? We aren't keeping His commandments which include the seventh day Sabbath. We made pagan holidays Christian holidays while ignoring the festivals God commanded. The three big ones: Sunday worship, Christmas and Easter never happened once in the Bible. Never. All pagan and man-made. What about the centuries of tradition - all the years we have been celebrating this way?. Well, we were wrong and it is about time we got right. Thankfully, as much as it has been ignored, God's word is still with us. There are now dozens of translations plus texts widely available in the original Hebrew and Greek. The truth is out there, it is just a matter of finding it. I say to hell with the traditions of man. Let's get after what God wants.
